In cooperation with grand master Yap Cheng Hai and other internationally recognized experts and lecturers, the Feng Shui Institute of Excellence wants to give everybody who is interested access to knowledge about classic Chinese Feng Shui and related areas of knowledge.
The Training

The purpose of the Feng Shui Institute of Excellence is to spread knowledge about classic, genuine Feng Shui.
In order to achieve this goal, the institute uses traditional as well as modern teaching methods.
Since its teachers do not only possess theoretical knowledge of Feng Shui but have also practical experience in its application, students will not only gain a comprehensive understanding of Feng Shui but also learn what it can in fact achieve.
The modular structure of the program allows you to decide after each module if and when you want to continue your studies.
After a module is completed you will receive a certificate and will be given the opportunity to participate in our worldwide internet discussion forum.

Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai 
Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai has more than 50 years of experience in Feng
Shui. Though now primarily known as a Feng Shui master, he is equally
well-versed in Chinese medicine, martial arts especially Wu Shu, Qi
Gong, metaphysics, palmistry and philosophy.
Grand Master Yap’s reputation as a Feng Shui master pre-dated the
worldwide fascination with Feng Shui that began in the 1990s. As early
as the 1960s, he already did Feng Shui readings for family and friends.
As his reputation grew, he became a consultant for private clients and
corporations the world over.
Grand Master Yap also captured a feather in his cap as a pioneering Feng
Shui master who conducted his classes in the English language. This
starting point was in the early 1980s in London, long before Feng Shui
caught worldwide attention.
Grand Master Yap’s vast knowledge and technical skills are sought by
other Feng Shui masters as well. He has offered his thoughts to other
Feng Shui masters, including renowned author and speaker Lillian Too,
who sought his advice when writing her early books. Grand Master Yap
also created a form of Qi Gong known as Yan Shou Gong. Literally
translated as Martial Art for Longevity, it’s a combination of movements
designed to help busy people enjoy health benefits.
Grand Master Yap’s four children are his most trusted assistants in his
Feng Shui and Qi Gong endeavours. The children – Boh Heong, Boh Hian,
Hwee Boon and Boh Chu – were among his first students who have
established themselves as Feng Shui masters. They represent the future
and continuity of his work.
Today, Grand Master Yap is also a successful corporate figure with
various business enterprises. Well in his 70s now, he follows a tight
schedule and spends more than 50 days of training and seminar a year
worldwide.

Following a short interview between Petra Coll-Exposito and Master Raymond Lo, 11th May 2007, Hotel Seehof, Berlin: Institute of Excellence: The Instructors Petra Coll Exposito:  My name is Petra Coll-Exposito.
I live in Berlin and work as a professional Feng-Shui consultant for
businesses and private households all over Europe.
During my numerous travels abroad I became conscious of Feng-Shui and
learnt that the laying out of one's work- and living area significantly
influences one's health and general well being. Out of sheer curiosity
which has long since turned into a firm conviction, I began to train as
a Feng-Shui counselor. During that time I met grand master Yap Cheng Hai
who convinced me to continue with my studies.
After studing for a long time I received the "Higher Diploma of Feng
Shui Mastery," from the Yap Cheng Hai Masterschool. So far, the diploma
has been given to only one other person in Germany.
Since I am allowed to teach at the masterschool, I teach modules one
and two to train European Feng-Shui consultants. Together with my
students I examine historical as well as new buildings from a Feng-Shui
perspective and present the findings on my website as well as in the media.
Also, I regularly give talks, hold seminars and try to use every
opportunity to draw the public's attention to the science of authentic
Feng Shui. When I was still studying with Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai I
took classes in Chinese Astrology, also known as Bazi Suan Ming, from
Dr. Manfred Kubny. During my counseling sessions I make use of that
knowledge. But I also offer pure Bazi Suan Ming consultations.
My personal motto is the following remark by Lao Zi:
"To look for knowledge means to gain, day by day."

Sylvie Schumann :  Born in 1966, I grew up in Chemnitz and went as a graduate in business management from Cologne to Berlin.
Feng Shui accompanied me in constant self-study throughout many years. Looking for its backgrounds and authentic methods I made Petra Coll-Exposito’s acquaintance and completed with her my consulter training.
With great enthusiasm for and conviction of the traditional classical teaching I carry out basic courses in cooperation with the Feng Shui Institute of Excellence.

Gabriele Götz-Fernández: Brought up in southern Germany, I finished studying my teaching diploma at the University of Frankfurt/Main.
After various experiences in the pedagogical and psychological area I specialised in working with groups adults. I thaught adults of different nationalities in intensive courses german language and helped them with their integration into Germany.
For 20 years now I have been living with my husband und son in Sevilla (Spain). Here I continued my teaching work, organising language courses, teaching and looking after groups of adults from all over the world.
As a consequence of a series of personal circumstances, seven years ago I began to learn Chi-Kung (Qi Gong) which since then I practice with enthusiasm. Through working with chinese knowledge and philosophy I came across Feng Shui. After looking for a serious source of information and aprenticeship in the authentic classical Feng Shui I was very fortunate to learn about the Great Master Yap Cheng Hai. As a resultate of this I was lucky enough to study at the Feng Shui Institute of Excellence with Petra Coll-Exposito where I complete the elementary and intermediate, and the advanced course personally with the Great Master Yap Cheng Hai.
I look forward to my future with Feng Shui.
